Held each year in loving memory of Ruth Walsh, a long‑standing and deeply cherished member of the Crapaud Curling Club, the Ruth Walsh Dream Spiel is all about bringing people together. This event celebrates everything Ruth loved, good curling, good food, and good company.

The Nice Boys are a dedicated group of local males who spend the year fundraising, paying dues, and giving back to kids in the community. Their generosity and hard work help support youth programs, families in need, and community initiatives across the South Shore.

Educator Cup

The Educators Cup is a fun, friendly curling spiel created by teachers, for teachers and school staff across the region. Teams form within each school and face off in a spirited competition.

It’s a day where educators trade lesson plans for curling stones, enjoy great food, and celebrate teamwork both on and off the ice.

Larkin’s Turkey Spiel

The Turkey Spiel is one of our most festive one day events of the season, a light‑hearted, good‑spirited competition where curlers battle it out for a delicious prize.
The winning teams each take home a Larkin turkey, just in time for Christmas.

1st Annual
Junior Fun Day

Junior Fun Day is a new annual tradition this year. It was created to bring young curlers together from clubs across the Island for a day of fun, friendship, and great curling.

It’s all about celebrating youth curling, creating connections, and giving juniors a memorable day on the ice.

Meltdown

This is our final spiel of the season, three unforgettable days of curling, laughs, and end of year celebration. Teams battle their way through the Frozen, Melting, and Puddle brackets, each one bringing its own level of fun and friendly competition.
