About the
Crapaud Curling Club
Founded in 1967, the Crapaud Curling Club has been a proud gathering place for curlers and community members for nearly six decades. As we celebrate our 60th anniversary in 2027, the club continues to embody the spirit of small‑town PEI: welcoming, resilient, and powered by volunteers.
The club is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors, with a dedicated on‑site manager from September to July who helps keep leagues, events, and daily operations running smoothly.
In 2021–2022, the club faced significant financial strain and pandemic impacts that threatened its future. The community rallied, membership surged from 68 to 142, and major upgrades were completed, including new rocks, refreshed facilities, and improved ice conditions. That comeback story continues to define who we are today: a club built on determination, teamwork, and community pride.
Whether you’re stepping on the ice for the first time or returning for another season, you’ll find a warm welcome waiting for you in Crapaud.
